Appointments
Office visits are generally by appointment. A number of same-day appointment spaces are available to handle urgent problems. Physicals and routine care appointments may be scheduled 2-3 weeks in advance.
If you are more than 10 minutes late for your appointment, you may be asked to reschedule. It is an inconvenience for the other patients that arrive on time for their appointment to have to wait due to late patients.
Regularly scheduled appointments may be delayed due to an emergency. Every effort will be made to notify you if your appointment has been delayed due to an emergency.
No Show/Rescheduling
Please give a minimum of 24 hours notice if you will not be able to make your appointment. We are happy to cancel or reschedule an appointment. Letting us know you are unable to make your appointment, allows other patients to be seen during that time. Consistent no show appointments may result in termination of medical services.
Cosmetic Services
Cosmetic Services are to be paid in full at the conclusion of the visit and will not be billed to your health care plan.
Insurance/Payment
Your insurance company requires you to show proof of insurance at each visit. This allows us to correctly bill for your appointment. Notify the receptionist when you check in if your address or insurance information has changed since your last visit. Payment is expected at the time of service, unless prior arrangements have been made. Co-payments are collected at each visit, and credit cards are accepted for your convenience.
Be an informed consumer. Know the extent of your insurance coverage. Some insurance companies require a referral authorization before you can visit a specialist or have certain diagnostic testing. Other insurance companies will not pay for well/preventative exams. Not knowing what your plan covers may cost you more out of pocket. All insurance companies have customer service representatives available to help you with your questions.
